Kenosha County CSA Children First Program

Having difficulty making your child support payments?
Children First may be able to help!

WHO?

Any non-custodial parent who is:

  • Unemployed or underemployed
  • Able to work
  • Has a child support order, and
  • Not current in meeting child support payment obligations.

WHAT?

The Children First Program helps noncustodial parents find employment so they can make reliable child support payments. Program participants may be eligible for the following services:

  • Assistance with job search, employability and placement, including obtaining job skills, education and employment supports;
  • Partial suspension of administrative enforcement measures (dependent upon full program participation); and
  • Peer support, transportation assistancem case manager support, and referrals to resources.

WHY?

To help non-custodial parents become more emotionally and financially involved with their children.
